As a pediatric therapist myself, I’ve had the privilege of working in a variety of settings. I began my career in pediatrics at a private practice, and later transitioned into working with special needs schools and early intervention. With experience spanning across different settings, I understand the challenges and joys that come with helping children with special needs. Our team at Jump Ahead Pediatrics has a wide range of expertise, and we hope you’ll find the information we share here helpful no matter your role—whether you’re a mom caring for a child with special needs, a new therapist just starting your journey, or a teacher looking to better understand your students.
One of the key themes I’m passionate about is work-life balance. The healthcare industry can be particularly demanding, and it’s all too easy to experience burnout. In this blog, I’ll be sharing practical advice on how to avoid burnout and stay energized, both at work and at home.
