Jump Ahead Pediatrics was built with one clear priority in mind: supporting schools in delivering consistent, compliant services to students without added stress or disruption.
Jump Ahead Pediatrics was founded by a team of dedicated occupational therapists driven to deliver high-quality, child-centered therapy services to New Jersey’s school communities. Therapist-owned and operated, our company is built on real-world clinical expertise, a personalized approach, and an unwavering commitment to student success.
Since our inception, we have evolved to meet the diverse and growing needs of districts and students, expanding our offerings from occupational therapy to include speech, physical, and behavioral therapies. Today, we serve more than 30 school districts and employ over 100 licensed professionals, including SLPs, OTs, PTs, BCBAs, RBTs, LCSWs, certified teaching aides and more.
Because our leadership team began their careers as school therapists, we understand firsthand the unique challenges schools face when it comes to staffing. We know what it feels like to walk into a building short staffed, to balance compliance with compassion, and to support students whose needs do not fit neatly into a schedule. That perspective shapes how we recruit, place, and support our clinicians. We are not just filling positions. We are partnering with schools in a way that reflects real experience inside classrooms, IEP meetings, and therapy rooms.
School-based teams operate under unique pressures. Tight timelines, staffing shortages, compliance requirements, and evolving student needs all collide at once. Too often, staffing solutions are designed around provider availability rather than the realities schools face every day. We knew there had to be a better way.
From the beginning, we designed Jump Ahead Pediatrics to align with how schools actually work. Our founders started as school therapists and understand firsthand what schools go through to provide services to students.
We focus on staffing models that support continuity, compliance, and communication. Our processes are structured to fit within district expectations, not create additional layers of work for administrators. That means clear onboarding, dependable follow-through, and proactive problem solving when needs shift mid-year.
We also understand that school staffing is rarely static. Vacancies arise unexpectedly. Caseloads change. Timelines matter. Our team is built to respond quickly and thoughtfully, whether a district needs short-term support, coverage during a transition, or longer-term staffing stability. We can fill positions quickly to support unexpected vacancies, recently we filled multiple paraprofessional positions within days of the request.
Compliance is another cornerstone of how we operate. Schools must meet IEP requirements, state regulations, and district standards, all while serving students first. We prioritize accuracy, documentation, and alignment with district protocols so schools can feel confident in the services being delivered.
Just as important is communication. We believe schools deserve a staffing partner who is responsive, transparent, and easy to work with. Our goal is to reduce administrative burden, not add to it. Every client is assigned a direct point of contact to act as their client manager. Additionally, as a small business our clients have access to our leadership team. No bureaucracy or red tape, just swift solutions to client needs.
At its core, Jump Ahead Pediatrics exists to help schools stay focused on what matters most: supporting students. By building our organization around school needs, we aim to be a reliable extension of school teams during both planned and unexpected moments.
Because when schools are supported, students benefit.
